I think it was manual and the kid started it in gear. It's probably a good thing it was in 1st and not reverse.
It could be an interesting fight with the home owner insruance company to pay for the car damage since the auto insurance company probably won't pay for it.

My 16 year old Grandson has driven 3 of my Stangs, but NEVER alone, always with me, as mine are stick and he drives a pickup thats automatic. He does real good with it, but not ready to let him drive it alone, to expensive to let him do that and if any thing should happen, he would never forgive himself.admin said:
