Mustang Key Color

I was looking at my mustang car & trunk keys and noticed a warn bluish tint to them and was wondering if this was standard of all ford keys in the '67-68 era.

That's a new one on me. All I've ever seen are the silver metal version.

Are they aluminum or steel?

The keys i have are aluminum but with a bluish tint.

I'm pretty sure the original keys were steel. The aluminum ones should be copies.
