Alright! On the last wheel and in the home stretch with my brake job... Only #3 bloody knuckles and a wrist wound. Ended up replacing the soft lines up front, which is a very, very good thing since they were in simply horrible condition once off and inspected in good light. I need to get a...

My tired CS should be on the road again by spring... Maybe I can talk the husband into a road trip south.

Some of you know about this car as I bought it from a Forum member earlier this spring, but I haven't really posted anything about it much until now. This is an X-Code, sold new in Texas. It's had one repaint about a 1000 years ago in the original color, and is pretty close to being rust-free...

Yep, same here.

I found one under the springs of the driver's seat on my '69 San Jose Mach. It's in horrible condition, but I pieced it together and it's still moderately legible.

Glad you got it fixed! I had a car whose lights would fade out randomly like that, and if I hit the dimmer switch on the floor, they would come back on...it was "disconcerting," to say the least, but I'm obviously still alive to tell the tale, lol. Another pile-o-1970 Mach I had, had the high...

If the headlights are stock, check your high/low beam switch on the floor. If you have higher-powered headlights for increased brightness, replace your '68 headlight switch with a '69 switch to solve the problem.

I'm in Albany! Small world. He says he has a Marti report, so it makes me think it's probably "real," but you never know.

Good luck on selling the Mustang... But WOW! I am so excited for you :-) and dying for details, even tho it's totally none of my business, lol! I had Madeleine when I was 39 and she's the light of my life (and the pain in my rear on some days, haha). Congrats. BTW, it's worth ponying up...

Here's his car: http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/2544177728.html "This is a real California Special, listed in the registry and marti report available. It has a rebuilt Ford engine installed by the Ford dealer, new radiator and the carpet is new but otherwise is completely stock. It was...

Are you really wanting the Lime Gold? I know of a super, super nice gold Gold CS for sale with an asking price less than the ending bid.

The car shows well in person, too. I saw it at the Round Up a couple of weeks ago and it's a very, very nice car.

I just looked at one today at the Mustang Round Up in the Seattle area... If you are still looking, PM me for details.

Something like that. He mostly hauls Mopars, but takes other stuff from time to time. Here's where it currently is in Ohio or Indiana or somewhere in the midwest...I'm geographically challanged.

Albany/Lebanon/Corvallis area. It sounds like it will need a few maintenance/sitting things addressed before it's truly road-worthy, although I think it should make the round trip to the DMV from my house for VIN inspection alright. We'll see how scary it is to drive on my road first, tho; may...

It's coming from Tennessee, but currently hanging out in Ohio.

Battle scars!

Should show up early next week, after 2 months of waiting! It's been several years since I've had a California Special--can't wait to have one again...

Haha! I love that word!
