It's been so many years now that I can't remember if I paid for all, or just 1/2 down. So either a book will come in the mail, or it won't.

I'd give you $20K for it as is. ;-)

Seems like I see a lot of cars where the "dealer" doesn't consider themselves an "owner." They have a dealer license so it's legal for them to sell the car with an open title.

How motivated...? ;-) I'm not as local as the other guys, so I can't drop by to look easily on an afternoon. Perhaps you could send me your photos directly so I can see the car better (they don't open up very large here on the Forum for me). Is he also selling the '68 Corvette? Thanks...

I can't comment on the missing S, but missing the R isn't uncommon on the fender stampings for the '68s.

Shouldn't it have the reinforced shock towers?

I wondered if it was an X or an S... Maybe it's Gulfstream Aqua.

Yep, about 5 times more of each than expected!!!

I have a couple of spare FMXs sitting around if you need one. Not rebuilt, but in working order as far as I know. I think I have a C4 that came out of a runner sitting around as well. I like the "feel" of the (incorrect) C4 in my one car, compared to the correct FMX in the other.

Anyone going...?

Wow--that looks like a pretty darned good deal! If I wasn't overfull in my stable, I'd be looking at your CS to buy.

All A/C cars had the heavy duty capacity radiators, but this is not the same as a 390 radiator as you have found out. Dimensionally they are the same and the top tanks look the same, but the lower outlet is on the opposite side as that of a small block, IIRC. To use a 390 radiator if you have...

I'd let it go and use them.

We've stayed at the Days Inn, too--it's just right across the street!

I'm glad you posted this! I just got it in gear and made our reservations, so we're cool. It's a good hotel--you get free made-to-order breakfast every morning and free cocktails for happy hour from 5-7pm each night. Decent indoor pool and the hotel provides a hose if one should happen to...

I can't answer much, but that the Embassy Suites is walking distance to the show--we always leave the cars at the motel Saturday and walk up to check out the judged cars for a bit. There is a nice bikepath that's not far away that we use.

I believe the smaller chamber is for the rear brakes. I suspect that you'd had one or both rear wheel cylinders start leaking over winter and that's where the fluid has gone. Jack up the rear end of the car by the pumpkin and take a look. The inner rear wheels won't be wet as the brake fluid...
