1968 Engine painting - Items to be Ford Corporate Blue

The extension is aluminum and the Ezy-out just tears at it. I'd drill it out but that may spread shavings through the engine. Is there any way to get behind the extension by pulling the pan?

    1968 Shock Tower Holes

Scott, I'm going to try to clean up the edges of the hole and cut a piece to fit. Of course, I haven't welded in 40 years, so we'll see how it goes.

    1968 Shock Tower Holes

I'm getting ready to weld up the chasm in this shock tower. Are any of the other holes supposed to be there? I hole to the top right of the huge hole is for a wire holder, but the others have me confused, especially the one 4" or so below it. Thanks

    1968 4V Intake Manifolds

Why does the '68 302 4V intake have a different casting number than the '67 289 4V version? They look identical to me. What am I missing?
