    67 High Country Special

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! and last week that buyer of the so-called '67 HCS conv. apparently did not do his(or her) homework from this site and now us in the hobby may someday have to deal with this, I believe, fake car. I guess I should have called the seller's bluff and exposed this on the "ask...

    67 High Country Special

This HCS IS the real deal and I've contacted seller about the missing number in the original listing and this has been corrected at the end of the listing. I just noticed the reserve has been met at 4000 or so, so it will be sold soon. High Country Bob here.

    67 HCS Coupe on eBay

Yep, it's the real deal. I had to email them about missing a number in the vin in their listing and she thanked me and made the correction, as you can see. No Marti, but the vin numbers and 2nd line is right on the money AND it's one that I did not have in the registry yet. HC Bob here.

Possible So. Calif. GT/CS get together?

"and who wants to be the other CS (or HCS) racer", well, ME and perhaps Scott Fuller if we can make it because this sounds like a threat or challenge to me. HC Bob here.

    What was your first car?

My 1st car was a blue 1940 ford conv, at age 17. Bought it in March and my parents made me sell it in Sept, 'cus I lost my drivers lic. Here in Denver, the police didn't like illegal left turns, loud Smitty mufflers, dual spotlights and when striking pedestrians in crosswalks, YOU"RE DONE.(...

    Brass Pins for HCS Badges

brass pins 67HCSFB, ie. those pins you are asking about, try Lowes or Home Depot for a NEAR this type of "pin". Theirs are quite like the orig. type but are actually nails. The orig. pins have a spiral shaft that as you tapped them in, they would turn on in and seat themselves. Ford dealers...

    '67 HCS Convertible on eBay

These people (Nathan) called me the day or so before this car was listed. The 416 stuff and much of his other dialogue sounds like he had a tape running as we talked. He was told "THIS IS NOT A '67 HCS", ie. for example March build date (where as '67 HCS were June 27 and 30 build dates), DSO...

    '67 HCS Convertible on eBay

Where did this "the far sides attach to the lower part of the dash" theory originate or come from. That's bologna. The only difference between '67 and '68 pads is the cutout area on the top to expose the vin tag info up there. HC Bob here.

    Question for HCS owners..

Hey, me too, Tim. Scott, you're right on ie. that 9 HCS were built and 6 are in the registry. HC Bob here.

    Question for HCS owners..

Paul, I think we HCS owners, for the most part, would want our own decals. I, too, would not run a CS decal on one of my HC's and visa versa, I would not run a HC decal on my '68 royal maroon CS. I don't know how one would want to handle the 3 different years of the HCS (perhaps all 3 years...

    Dash pad correct color?

I have a '68 HCS in Highland Green exterior and standard Gold Nugget interior. My dash pad was dark, "I mean DARK", brown and original, I'm sure. So, I took the whole pad to the paint store for a color match and they took a color match from one of the bottom sections where the sun and other...

Need Data Plate info for the following VINs:

Paul, car #142578 was on ebay 9/17/06. Data plate showed 65A B 2A 15B 71 and I could not make out the axle and trans. numbers/and or letters. More data is on my card for this CS, being mailed to you with about another dozen finds. Also, with the cards, you will receive a few of my 2005...

    Lucas Foglight Posts on eBay

The chrome "things" are not even for Shelbys. What one would actually be bidding on is 2 bolts, 1 washer, and 2 stands. hicountry Bob here.

    Taillight Covers (Inside Trunk)

Actually, Paul, the metal tabs hold the taillight harness in place only and the covers are notched out to allow this. SO the covers are held in place by the folded-in lip of the taillight panel. There is no way those panels will fit if one tries to use the tabs
