Sometimes eBay just cracks me up - '67 'S' code coupe

Doesn't do much good if you cut off the last number in the vin. Trust me, it's there, look real close!!!! Yeah, mine was an "R" code that wasn't stamped very well at the factory, just looks like a "T". LOL Bret

    1968 overhead concle

Bracket goes in the front. Look at the link in Arlie's (Mosesatm) post above, It has a pic of where the bracket goes and where to put the screws in the back part of the ceiling. When I did mine , Mustang Monthly had a article on how to do it. Might be able to search their site for more info. Bret

    . cross boarder in canada

Looks like a pretty nice car. rack and pinion, reclining seats, tach dash, air, PDB, 4 speed, dual exhaust. couple minor details, windshield washer hose and nozzles, and hood bumpers. Not real wild about the wheels, for me anyway, but that's fixable. Looks like a decent job on the hood scoop...

Kinda hard to tell for sure from the angle, but looking at mine, it's pretty close. The I/B edge of my washer is in line with the O/B edge of my signal housing. Bret

For Sale 1968 GT/CS Project on Craigslist

I wonder what the hood was cut for? Maybe the reason for only 2600 made. Would make a good project depending on the marti and the under carriage. Bret

1966-67 HCS Might This be a '67 HCS?

To me it looks like a Blue Bonnet Special. I think it was Texas, but don't remember all the details of them. If I remember, they were all 289's and a Texas decal or some sort of fender badge. Also, I think the paint code was blank or a special code like the GNS. Just throwing out ideas. Bret

    1968 Starting Problem GT/CS

Took the tail shaft and the driveline to the trans shop only to find out that the outside dia. of the yoke is too big. It measured 1.503 instead of 1.50. So, now back to the driveline shop to get another yoke. I'm bringing the tail shaft also so there won't be any more mistakes. Bret

    1968 Starting Problem GT/CS

If it had been 30 years ago, possibly. Luckily, I've matured a little and quietly walked away, closed the garage doors, turned out lights, and grabbed a beer. It'll come together, just takes patience. Bret

    1968 Starting Problem GT/CS

Didn't mess with the running aspect, instead I took the tail shaft off of the trans and tried to slip it onto the yoke and no go. Looks like the bushing has a couple nicks and just slightly out of round. Off to the trans shop tomorrow. Bret

    1968 Starting Problem GT/CS

Yeah, the 6 deg. was more or less a reference. If I tried 10 deg. now, it would be pointing at the tire. I'll play with it tomorrow along with tracking down this yoke problem. Thanks guys for the help.
