    1968 Fog light wiring connector

They're called "bullet connectors" and Radio Shack or most hardware/auto parts stores will have them. The new ones are slightly smaller than the ones Ford used, but if you're careful not to stab yourself, you can use a small screwdriver to spread them apart at the seam. Steve

1968 Rebuilt C4 is in but won't start or engage gear

Yes, that's the location. I just want to make sure you have 12V at the fuse block. The fuses aren't important at this point. Steve

1968 Rebuilt C4 is in but won't start or engage gear

I wouldn't buy a solenoid until you're sure the solenoid is getting power. I hate throwing parts at something before finding what's really wrong. I forgot you got the solenoid to energize and the starter to turn by jumping over the terminals. You can eliminate the concern about the solenoid...

1968 Rebuilt C4 is in but won't start or engage gear

I'm lost trying to follow this thread, so I'm going to start fresh. Hope no one minds or takes offense. With the battery connected, do you have 12V at the fuse block? There are two wires at the positive (battery) side of the starter solenoid. They have fusible links right at the terminals, so...

1968 Rebuilt C4 is in but won't start or engage gear

I have one of these in my tool box because my lovely assistant hates to be taken away from the Hallmark Channel. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Remote-Start-Switches/_/R-SER124_0006402985 Steve

Will do. It might be a bit. It got down to -7 deg. last night. It has to warm up to get to Damn cold! Steve

1968 Help a sister out please, car fire

If Mike doesn't have the air cleaner, I think I have one that would be correct, but it's missing the snorkel. I also have a pair of shock tower braces, if those were damaged. Steve

1968 Help a sister out please, car fire

I didn't mean to start a squabble, but I have to say dalorzo, that not everyone that disagrees with you is an idiot. Not every buyer is as "enlightened" as you, and personally, I use every tool I can to get the price of a car down when I'm buying one. Not original engine/tranny? That should be...

1968 Help a sister out please, car fire

First Donna, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I really feel for you. Second, while you may be tempted to try and save the car from further damage by removing carpet, etc., don't do anything until you and the insurance company have reached an agreement. If you "tamper" with anything, it may...

    1968 Hood lock pins.

I couldn't find double stick tape (for the top washer) thin enough at the time, so used a light coating of silicone adhesive. I also glued a second washer under the hood so that the snap ring would stop against that instead of the top washer. If someone wanted the hood pin assy, and didn't care...

    1968 Mystery Noise 63, Rob 0

Sometimes it doesn't matter how it's found, just that it is found. Glad you have it figured out. You know, since most of my time has been spent working on Cleveland's, and my CS 302 doesn't have the holes for emission tubes, I wouldn't have even thought of that. Steve

Rob, you covered everything I would have looked at, except possibly a clearance issue with the oil pump. I can't wait for the answer. Steve

    1968 rearend swap

I remember the front end pointing at first one ditch, and then the other...... oh wait, that was me. I don't think Rob's accelerator pedals have return springs on them, because they always seem to be resting on the floor. Steve

I bought the rear end for my Tiger from them as well. No complaints. Steve
