    For Sale 1968 S-code GT/CS on Craigslist

That looks like one that was posted from Utah about two years ago, for about the same price. IIRC the owner said he was deployed out. Steve

. Steve is in the House!!

The birthday weekend is almost here, so I thought I'd follow up and see what the plan is. Are we all meeting at the Triple X, going somewhere else, or should we shoot for a different time? We had snow over here in the higher elevations yesterday so we'll be taking Deb's Escape, in case...

Is your wheel bearing tightened correctly? I would guess that or the rotor. Steve

    Bullitt movie car...

I think the soundtrack from Bullitt is one of the best ever made! I still think about the nice, leisurely, drive we took that day. Definately relaxing! We'll have to do it again sometime. Steve

    1968 Deck lid seal

I think every CS I've seen has had misalignment between the deck lid and the end caps, except mine. Mine was hit in the rear and when I repaired the fiberglass, I made everything line up. I even reshaped the end caps so they'd line up with the quarter panels. That was back when I was young and...

    1968 Chrome Styled Steel Wheels

I think I'm a victim of terminology. I was confused by what was called a "lug centric balancer" but after reading the link, I believe that what they're talking about is using what I've always referred to as a "spin balancer" instead of the old style "bubble balancer", where you just set the tire...

    . Admin is Real!!!

Never doubted it for a minute. This is probably a good time to say "Thank you Jon, for all you do for us, and keeping the CS site alive and well". I've met many good friends through here that I wouldn't have otherwise. Steve

    1968 Racing GT/CS or HCS

I haven't seen the show, but if it's from the era, could it have been a Terlingua? Steve

    1968 Joe's build thread

Sorry my brother but the job's already taken. You'll have to settle for "Uncle Rob". Dad

1968 What would you do?? (assemble now or restore?)

I would reassemble and drive it. If nothing else, you'll find out what parts might be missing so you can look for them over a longer period of time and find better deals. Steve

    1968 Joe's build thread

You bet. It beats the heck out of that folded look it had before. Congrats on the progress. Can't wait to see it done. By the way, don't let your sister drive it until Dad makes sure it's safe! Dad

    1968 Matching # 302

I'd go $500 with the work that's been done, and possibly as high as $1,000, and then do like Mike said and stick it away. You can only have the original once, and once it's gone, there's (usually) no getting it back. Steve
