    Another Bad Idea?

It is well done, but they probably shouldn't have done it. (My first reaction was "hideous"). Steve

I had the opportunity to see this, and the GN/CS/GT, up close and personal this last weekend. I have a really severe case of engine envy, because mine is definately not bigger. Just a word of advice. If Rob asks if you want to go for a ride in the CS and says "See what happens when we bury the...

    Oil Gauge Question

It shouldn't just sit there, so you either have a gauge, wiring, power or sender problem. Disconnect the wire from the sender (on a piece of hex pipe by oil filter), stick a small screw in the connector and ground it to the engine or body somewhere. Turn on the key without starting the engine...

Interior assist needed on a '72...

The "plastic plate" is probably part of the door panel. The repop deluxe door panels I bought for mine were a formed plastic sheet with the vinyl material layed over it. Even if you used washers, there would still be some movement, and one of the screws mount right against an inside curve with...

    Signal Turn Switch

I have a couple different ones like this. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/JONARD-Pin-Extractor-2RZV4?cm_sp=IO-_-IDP-_-BTM_BTB05209020&cm_vc=IDPBBZ2 Any industrial or electronics supply house should have something similar. If you already have the new switch, take it in with you and they can...

Looks nice, and I'm jealous. We had snow again a couple of days ago. Steve

    Signal Turn Switch

The first thing I would do is get a pin removal tool. It's basically a hollow tube the same size as the pin, with a plunger in it. It fits over the pins in the connector so you can press them out without damaging the catch. If you have one of those, the job is a breeze. Disconnect negative...

    1968 J code exhaust question

Scott is correct. My J code came with single as well. If your car came with dual exhaust, you should see a spot in the left side axle tunnel that matches the right side for mounting the exhaust hanger. Steve
