    4-Speed S-Code in Sacramento

I thought all 390-4V cars were GT. Maybe not, but I thought so. The fact that it says "GT" on the Ford report is interesting. I have a document from Ford dated 12-12-67 stating "390-cu. in. 4V V-8 engine option now available only with GT Equipment Group". Scott

Do you have more invested in your GT/CS than its market value?

I'd guess that I have a ton more money in my HCS CJ than I could get for it. Don't really know, but I thought I paid too much for it at the time I purchased it, and the market is softer now. Scott

    GT/CS and dual exhausts

Terry, You are correct. The 302/390 had 2-inch exhaust and the 428 had 2.25-inch. The H-pipe, resonator pipes, muffler, and tailpipes were different between the 302/390 and 428 but they all had the twin-tips sticking out the back. Scott

    GT/CS with GT Equipment group

A normal Mustang GT gas cap and fog lights are overridden by the GT/CS gas cap and fog lights. There may be oher items, but that's what I can come up with. Scott

Concours Correct Tie Rod End Boots Now Available

Doug, Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, you are right...the tooling costs are expensive and are the biggest factor in driving the selling price. This is my first real entry into parts that go on "many cars" rather than a "few cars". I am hoping that NPD will sell a bunch of them when they...

    Interesting '68 Mustang Ad

You guys are killing me! First no one likes my Lime Gold GT/CS, and now you're picking on Yellow? French Mustard? Doesn't really look good on anything? OUCH! I like it. In 1968 Ford painted 144-1968 Shelbys fleet yellow color WT6066. It looks like the GT/CS in the link is that color...
