Darrell, NO to me, but that's a call that owners must decide. In reality, the '69 rests are shorter in length which is quite noticeable and the '69 headrests have a 1 flat bar adjustment rather than a 2 "rod" adjustment that the '68 rests have. hicountrybob here.

428 cj and 390 2v needs Jason, my 390 2v HCS vin is 8R01X168079 and my 428 CJ HCS vin is 8R01R168056. My Marti Reports state that 1 X code HCS was produced and 9 R codes HCS's were produced. LET'S ROCK AND ROLL with this and see what happens. HICOUNTRY Bob Teets here.

I, too, have sent Paul N. many "finds" ie., this past year I sent him over 100 vins with assorted info on each, many with Marti verifications. Just this past week, I sent him 53 more plus I have 2 more here on my desk. Many of these have come from ebay listings, other sites, plus phone calls...

Some of the HCS cars that I've had over the years(11 or 12 of them) have had "parts" of the washers still intact but none have been plastic. They've been RUBBER and I still have some of the pieces of them that are pretty ragged. I don't know anything about PLASTIC ones. PAUL N. on this one...

Arlie, yes, Colorado Mustang is the most interesting Mustang stop that one could wander thru. Even as dated as this picture is, there are still many interesting builders in there (COLORADO MUSTANG0) yet, ie. playboy pink '67 rag, I believe, 6 to 8 hcs and cs, and fewer fastbacks than this...
