    Oval Air Cleaner Wingnuts ...

Nowhere near Scott's original, but I have a modern version with 2 wing nuts on my '66 with 351W, and it definitely twists around. I am always having to straighten it. Fortunately I have electric choke on Edlebrock 4 barrel, so no issues related to that. Just wanted to confirm the twisting...

    New 07 GT/CS

I love the grabber orange, and it really sets off the GT/CS stripe. Congrats and welcome to the GT/CS family. Casey

    Windshield Woes

OK - so I got points taken off at the MCA show in Springfield for having a chip in my windshield (way down at the bottom center about an inch above the bottom of the glass - looks just like a 'BB" hit it if you know what that looks like). I never noticed it much, and hoped they would overlook...

    how to identify gt/cs ??

You cannot tell a true GT/CS without either an original bill of sale or a Marti Report. The VIN will not tell you it is a GT/CS. The inexpensive Marti Report (I think it is $17) will tell you if it is a GT/CS. Casey

ADMIN - One of our own has passed away

An aerial shot of the cars will be cool. I look forward to it, although I cannot be there. The irony is that it is in "Chicago" Park. Casey

    MCA Nationals - Springfield

Finally got the photos uploaded. 490 cars and it was pretty hot...but I met some really nice people: - From this site: CALIGIRL (Linda) with her awesome sonic blue 2007 GT/CS. I am wearing one of Tim and Sharon's great GT/CS shirts. - Me with Mary Jean Wesche (Mustang Times Editor), and Wally...

    MCA Nationals - Springfield

I am sending off for the judging sheets. Let me be clear - my car is a driver - NOT concourse - it is no where near concourse. Again, I take pride in it being a VERY nice car, mostly original, from Pasadena. It is not modified (mostly). Maybe I should try for "Driver" class next time, but I...

    Picking it up!

I just trailered my car 600 miles (U_Haul trailer). No one I saw used a cover....they get whipped by the wind. My truck has a rear top, so that blocked most the bugs. I had no rock problems, but the truck has big mud flaps (I saw a lot of people "clip" mud flaps on their concourse driven cars...

    MCA Nationals - Springfield

Great show - 490 Mustangs - but, either I was in the wrong class (ODK - which includes all occassional drivers that are trailered from 1964-1978) or my car needs a lot of work. I didnt win anything. My undercarriage looks like a 40 year old car from Pasadena, and I like it that way...to show...

    Engine Tag Question

I did some research on engine tags and it is on a thread somewhere here. But, one thing I did learn was that Windsor engines were sitting around the Windsor factory for some time (partly due to the UAW strike). Don't know my history that well, or if 302 falls into that category. Only a...

Casey - isn't this your car?

She may have kept the bill of sale, registration or trade-in paper work (for finding the VIN). I know my dad kept everything (every pay stub he ever got in 40 years), so you never know what may be in a box somewhere. Casey

Casey - isn't this your car?

Just for kicks - do you have any old pictures of his car? Would be cool to see some pictures of when it was new, etc. (Even the typical "in the driveway background" kind of picture would be neat). Thanks, Casey

Casey - isn't this your car?

OK - in all my literature I found both - dash and carpet that matched, and those that did not match. In 1968 literature I found parchment interior with black dash, but I cannot see if it is a deluxe interior. So, I will keep looking. Casey
