Hi all, The heater delete option on the '68 brought up this question to me- Do they still do heater deletes on Hawaii-bound new Mustangs? -Jeff

    2007 GT/CS Side Scoops

Thanks for the info guys. I was able to get these installed recently. I did clean the car surface with some rubbing alcohol. The double-sided tape was very sticky and I'm confident that they'll stay on the sides of the GT. Will get pics up here soon. -Jeff

    2007 GT/CS Side Scoops

Hi all, I have a friend who recently purchased a fully loaded 2007 Mustang GT (minus the Navigation package). She asked me to install a set of 2007 GT/CS Side Scoops for her. She bought them pre-painted to match the car and they go on with some adhesive tape around the perimeter of the back of...

1968 GT/CS commercial on You Tube

Do we know who the actor is in the commercial? I think we determined that it was not Charles Grodin in a previous thread. He looks very familiar. Just can't quite place him.

    Driver's door won't open

Teej, The only thing I can think to do is pop off the inside door panel. This may be tricky to do with the door shut. There is a tool to unhook those clips. Kind of a flattened out and slightly curved screw driver. Once there is access to the linkage inside the door you should be able to see...

Casey - isn't this your car?

Casey, Looks like in one of the shots of your car there are a couple of CS's across the street in the background? -Jeff

    Auto Trailer

Casey, I started looking into this also. I have the big 'ol 3/4 ton turbo dielsel to tow it. It's just been a funding issue (isn't everything?) The FeatherLite is the way to go. A friend of mine here at work has an enclosed one for hauling cars. He has a car hauling business on the side...

Racing Results and Pictures from Fontana

Great job David. Impressive that you were able to increase your speed as the day wore on especially since the air gets less dense as the temperature rises which means less oxygen through the motor. -Jeff

GT/CS' make a splash at Wild West Mustang Show

Mike and Robinette, Congrats!!! And it was nice to chat with you guys and Paul N. Wow!!! I was able to see the completed project of Mike and Robinette's on Saturday in Concord. It really turned out nice. The difference from the bare shell that was there at the BBQ last August and now is...

Have you been offered an interesting trade for your GT/CS?

It wasn't a trade. But it was a bizarre experience. I was working in my yard a couple of years ago (garage door was open, CS parked in it) and some guy and his family, apparently on a spending spree after selling their home in the Silicon Valley and looking for homes out my way...in a brand new...

What kind of deals on '07 GT/CS?

Hi all, I know this might be a borderline taboo subject to talk about...But I was wondering what kind of deals, if any, are people getting on their new purchases of the '07 GT/CS. I've heard the Costco discount is $500 under invoice. Which sounds pretty good. Although I cannot verify it for...

    Transmission help!!

Hey Rob, Haven't gotten to it yet. Other irons in the fire...and now it's hotter than blazes here in the central valley. Will give a progress report when the planets align and I can start back on it. Thanks again for the advice. It is very much appreciated. -Jeff

    My 2000GT Questions

Casey, I wonder, were there sensors on your previous wheels? Not sure how the new cars get traction data to the on-board computer. Traction Control? It's a good thing. It's nice that they give you an on/off switch (sometimes)for it. I had traction control on a 2001 Toyota Sequoia 4.7 V8...

    Transmission help!!

Rob, The timing pointer is correct. The straw trick to determine TDC helped verify where I am at. Now I'm wondering why the engine runs at 35 BTDC!! and at 14 BTDC is coughs and pops and eventually dies. Hmmm, back to the torque converter... I suspect there is something wrong with it, or...
