I'm still here. I have been focused on some other things recently.

ballpark of $25k plus or minus 2k. others please chime in on this one. it will need paint 5k gas tank, carb rebuild, fuel lines, plugs, wires etc. $1200 interior stuff I am sure $700 probably some exterior chrome/molding etc. $1500

how much of the 390 stuff is on the motor? you can easily spend 3-4k for correct air cleaner, s tube, heat shield, brackets, intake and other related "stuff".

just got the proof of the catalog cover. I have tried to get him to put the CS on the cover for the last 3 years and he finally gave in. 2 of my other cars have been on the cover for the last 2 years. I little spotlight for the CS somebody want to link the attachment up so it shows on...

are your belts deluxe? and was that an option on your car?

when you say chrome metal case I assume you mean the outer ring is chrome plated plastic or do you mean your seatbelt CASE is metal? picture?

I would say no vinyl for your car. with my post yesterday it seems I am a little rusty on my facts.

condensation in the exhaust will cause the engine to spit out moisture when starting the car. I have had numerous Mustangs do that.

if you are not going to drive the car in the rain once it is back I would hire a enclosed transport service. It is suppose to rain all this weekend. If you are going to drive the car in the future you WILL get chips sooner or later. I think the mud flap thing is a good idea.

I have a hard time with a color change and a repro door tag matching the color change and being able to win a concours class. Color change is a BIG point deduction.

I can see that. anything else when you saw it in person that could nail it down? The article states in was concours. adding a deluxe interior and clock amoung other things is my basis that is COULD be a different one.

what makes you think it is the same car? license plate? If he knew what he was doing why did he add deluxe interior and such? article states restored to concours. A interior change is not very concours. nor is adding a clock. some of the other info in the article makes it close to the...
