Installed it today. Decided to punch a few new holes and use the valence screws. They sit about halfway between where the ones in the part were and the edge. It is a NPD "lumpy" one, so closer to the macerated OEM than the flat sheet repros. Not "correct" but it fits pretty good and I did...

Nice part, but does not install properly. The clip to hold the harness to the wheel well was missing, and the clip to hold it to the front door jamb was also AWOL. Ended up taping new ones to the harness to hold it, not what one expects from a $200+ harness... mildly disappointing.... :tongue:

Have completed the vinyl top and headliner. Was going to do the rear 1/4 windows next but then realized the side scoops need to go on before that. Which lead to the stripes... Should the stripe be put on the scoop off the car, to get a good rear edge wrap? Or can they be done after the scoop...

Did the screws the hold the 6 "cupped" metal panels to protect the taillight wiring get the grey plastic protectors on the screw tips in the trunk, as were used on the standard 68's?

FAM shows the install, but looks like one was never installed on mine... no holes above the valence for the mounts. And the repro fits kinds funny, not sure if they were used with the GTCS as the tail panel seem to interfere with the mount screws. Anyone got photos of an OEM installed?

Anyone got close up shots of how it was trimmed out at the lower end of the A pillars and at the lower rear edge by the trims. Mostly interested in the rear trim, there is a gap between the front edge of the lower horizontal trim and the drip rail and it seems part of the edge is just left...

Anyone got a known OEM? April build if it makes a difference. Have seen reference to a C6 and a C8 casting number as correct.... anyone know which one is???
