Mike, The springs should be semi-gloss black with stripes. The stripes differ between applications/options. For example my 390gt (fastback) with P/S and 4 spd. has one gold stripe and one yellow stripe. If you send me a message with eng., trans., and options I will try to look it up for you...

I bought a steering wheel at a swap meet with the exact same leather cover and removed it. I later heard something about this being a dealer option and did find it listed "somewhere". I will try to find it again. I kept the cover, it is not in bad shape all things considered.

I had him email some additional photos of the undercarriage the first time it was listed and clearly saw some rust issues. Anyone who is interested needs to know it needs a complete resto. It appears the guy is being honest with his updates.

IMO Mustang Monthly is the leader, Mustang and Fords is also good, of course you have the MCA publication Mustang Times. I also subscribe to Musclecar Enthusiast which covers all makes and models.
