    1968 price range....

Being in Canada where there are fewer GT/CS cars to choose from, the prices are higher. I paid $27,000 for mine last August (in BC). I have since put another $7,000. into the car by way of transmission rebuild, new brakes, power steering rebuild, dual exhaust, tires and shocks and some misc...

1968 Tail Light Panel Screw Question

My car was repainted in 2005, but the tailpanel looks to me to be untouched. The screws on my car are the same as these, but are black, with no body colour on them at all. My CS was built on March 15th, if that makes any difference.

Lucas Fog Lights vs Driving Lights

The lens covers were not officially OEM, but some folks have said their cars came with them in the glove box. The round window covers are considered "period correct" for the GT/CS.

I turn mine on every once in a while just to see how cool they look. My car isn't out in any kind of weather that I would need them.

    1968 Dual Exhaust Tips

My CS is a C code 289. I wanted dual exhaust, but did not want to appear to be cloning a GT. My approach was to have slash cut exhaust tips put on with the system tucked tight to the rear valance. I like the look!

    1968 Hey from new member

Welcome! Great people here. You will love this place. I started looking for a GT/CS last June and found the right one before the end of August. It's not as difficult as you might think. Found mine on Kijiji BC. The internet is a great place to search for the right one.

1968 CJ Pony spark plug wire instalation

The wires I have are from SD and if you look at the paper tag attached to the plastic bag they came in, I think you will find that they are indeed from Martiauto.

1968 CJ Pony spark plug wire instalation

The wires should have the numbers 1 to 8 on them to correspond with #1 to #8 spark plugs. The set I have has the numbers on the underside. I believe the wire with the length of insulating rubber is the #1 wire. The L-shaped and straight plug connectors are correct also.

    1968 Cellphone Video

It happened again this morning. I was driving on Blanshard Street, same as before, and noticed a couple in a UHaul cube van. I could see they were checking the car out, and next thing I see is the passenger window rolling down and up comes a camera. She was shooting pictures for blocks. I...
