...Okay Amy, but the one we'll really need to work on is Arlie! "Six months" at $80 bucks an hour... 'Hate to be around when he gets THAT bill!! ;-)

    1968 Marti report question

...All I can say is we CS owners are fortunate to have the Marti connection to simply verify (what otherwise can't be decoded by VIN#) that we have the real deal! Everything else is like any other car. Tons of options available to have made any of them unique back in the day...

    1968 Marti report question

...Thanks "dalorzo f" and "CougarCJ". I had forgot about Marti's additional services. Rob, does the "elite" give a more detailed breakdown (per option) over the "deluxe"?

...'Found some data to compare to. I'm not sure how accurate these specs are, however. What's your opinion re; performance and mpg stats, etc... for the various options? Does anyone know of a handy (performance) chart...

    1968 Ford Quality # 1 ???

...Very nice Marty! And you have proven something of great discussion in past years here! The holes were neither pre-punched or drilled! They were obviously shot with a .22 rifle like I always suspected! ;-)

    1968 Marti report question

...The report only addresses how many '68s (all variations) on the individual cars requested and does not list paint codes for GT/CS optioned cars separately. Kevin Marti may well know how many GT/CS cars were of each color and that research would likely be featured in Newitt's book...

    1968 Need pics of J code 302 4V

Hmm...the only reason I can think of is the file is too big? See if you can reduce the pixels and try again. I (for one) would love to see your latest works, Neil :-)

    . Pictures Of Real Life!

Well, you can thank my sister Sharon for that. She demanded we all try to look like "bad boys" even though we know just enough about guns to be likewise, dangerous! Here's her video of the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow5N4GKuRkc Yet the real "bad boy" star of the thread is Dr.Rob...

    1968 High 14s and Low 15s

...That's about right for that set up, isn't it? Perhaps a J-code with 3:00 or 3:25 cogs would be mid to low 14's...

1968 NOS Hood locks: Are they worth it?

I have cars with both, but because I drive them and don't compete in judged shows, the ones that have repros are fine, and few the wiser. When the day comes when I begin selling them, I will try to apply as many original-spec parts (to include proper alternators, carbs, etc..) as $$ permit to...
