Green, I'd go back to the person that told you that and find out where they got this info from. There was never any lights or gauges on a 68 Mustang on the steering wheel. That would be an awfully small gauge to try and read.

I'm not sure if it's different on big blocks vs small blocks but I believe it goes inside the glove box on the door. Anyone else confirm that?
