    New project. Not a Mustang

Very nice car. Both the Super Bee and the GT/CS would be great to have. I certainly would not complain. Please keep us posted.

1968 Well, I just bought the "7 million in gold and 1 GT/CS" car

If it was mine, I'd keep the Lime Gold.

Here's a suggestion. Take a few pictures from different angles, showing the bug deflector, then take it off the car. Preserve it with anything else you remove as part of it's past. I've never seen one of those on a Mustang before.

    1968 Green Hornet

Maybe the bidder that originally went to $1.9 reconsidered and sweetened the deal.

The car did not meet it's reserve at $1.8 million. I really wonder how high the reserve was....$2 million perhaps?

    1968 Green Hornet

I understand where you are coming from. At the same time, Craig Jackson has owned the car for a long time, so I can't see it being sold anywhere else. It will certainly up the attention that the GT/CS cars get.

Does anyone know what time the Green Hornet is supposed to cross the block at BJ on Saturday? I really want to watch that one. Any guesses as to how much it will go for?

    1968 Thermactor Pump

Thanks for the input guys. After I posted, I looked it up in the GT/CS book. The information indicated that the Thermactor would be installed in any manual transmission car and any automatic car with a performance engine. Mine definitely would not have had one.

    1968 Thermactor Pump

My GT/CS was built mid-March for the San Francisco area. It has the hose running from the oil breather to the air cleaner and a PCV valve on the right side valve cover. It is a C code 2v 289. Would it have come from the factory with a Thermactor or smog pump? Thanks.
