1968 How did you find your GT/CS?

...Well, my first in 1978 was from a local paper classified ad (having seen the car driving around for a year or so prior). Details are published in the book; "California Special Way of Life" by Cory Goulding... Five other GT/CSs came from E-bay and the HCS was from here, courtesy of Bob Teets.

Oh gosh, I remember that! I used to believe it was a myth that red vehicles got ticketed more than others until I got popped in my Dodge on the way to LA. As fast as I was going - I'm sure now I would've been in jail if I had Oregon plates! Ralph, by all means, put the CA plates back on next...

...Well, it's going to have to be a big block Renee, 'cuz... Wow! With the switch (plus a few other) repairs complete, I embarked on the 30-mile flight to Renee's. We hadn't tested Rob's carb linkage fix prior to that, so the highway made for a great opportunity. Feeling the secondaries...

Yes Al, there's a good chance. I've started another steam locomotive as a matter of practice to get good at shading & details again. Your very enthusiasm is what will make this work. Nothing more... When I get confident again, I will ask for photos of your car & go from there :-)
