How do you fill your tank without spills?--'68

This always a problem for me as well. There have been a number of threads here on this and other forums. I leave a roll of paper towels in the trunk. I fold a few up and place them under the cap so it doesn't hit the bumper. Then like others, turn it to the side (I also lean it a little bit...

    Insurance update

Hagerty also uses Old Car Price Guide. They've always been good about raising the agreed value without much fuss for me. They have also recommended to me to raise it some years.

    HVMA Show Pictures

It's in a great location right on the Hudson River. Our attendance was down a little bit this year partially due, I believe, to a date change we had to do and another show the same day. This weekend I'm heading to the Adirondack Nationals Car Show in Lake George, NY. This is my first time...

428 SCJ Red GT/CS at MCA Utah show today!

Actually that wasn't my car Tom. I wish it was. I thought it was at first but realized I was parked in the first row closest to the museum. That's actually Dave Spencer's Acapulco Blue CS in the picture and next to it is his friends CS tribute tastefully done on a 67 convertible.

    Gallery

You can create multiple galleries if needed ... not sure if Jon wants us to do that if he's trying to limit disc space but it's an option. For example I had a gallery for my 302 and another for my 289.

    The Great Aemoo28 GT/CS Adventure!!

Hi Amy, Can't say I didn't warn you! As many have stated in this thread, you just never really know what's lurking under the hood or out of sight. I personally wouldn't and have not driven a new "old" car a long distance until I had a chance to give it a good going over. It's good to...

    Recommended Thermostat Rating (289)?

What thermostat is everyone running? 160 or 180 degrees? This for a 289. I need to change the thermostat housing so may as well pop in a new thermostat while we're at it. Not sure what is in there now. Thanks!
