If you want to put the vinyl roof on, my vote is for white with white stipes.

    1968 Fog light covers

Mine cost almost that much last year. Got them from Branda and they are perfect. I have not seen cheaper ones on eBay in over a year watching.

1968 Vin # on engine block

My block is similar. No vin#, so I know it is not the original  The stamping on the area below the intake at the back is 8K13 76. I know that decodes to Oct13/68. Don't know what the 76 means though.

    1968 Fog light covers

I managed to pick up a set from Tony Branda late last year. Their website showed the square hole set, but in the description, there was mention of the ones shown in the attached link with the small round hole. I know that they are not technically correct for the GT/CS, but I really like the...

1968 Seatbelts - Deluxe or Otherwise

My GT/CS has the seatbelts which include the shoulder belts. Are these what is referred to as the deluxe seatbelts? If not, what are deluxe seatbelts? Thanks.

1968 Swapping a C code to dual exhaust

I didn't go transverse. I had my local muffler shop do me a full dual setup with Walker Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers and a Walker H-pipe. I did notice that the engine ran better and a little more peppy. I agree that the GT valance and quad tips look great. For me though, a nice pair of slash...

1968 Swapping a C code to dual exhaust

I have put dual exhaust on my C code. You don't have to use turn downs if you don't want to. My shop did a beautiful job of putting the tips just under the valance and tucked right up. I did not want to use the GT valance on my car, as I didn't want to give the impression that I was...

    1968 paint color White

If you are going to sell the car anyways, keep it the original colour. The fact that you don't care for it, doesn't mean the buyer won't. Also, a colour change will require a lot more work, as you will need to paint door jambs etc. I agree that if you don't absolutely need to paint, don't.

    1968 engine air cleaner decals...

It is a shame really, that they can't get the curve right on that decal. After all, it is the first thing you see when the hood goes up.
