I have been considering getting a 68 1/2 CJ. If I cannot find something that I really like I might do a 68 390 stroker of some kind. Got the itch pretty bad.

237 of the 01 SL600 and 437 of the 03 CL600. 2 different cars. the me there is value in low numbers, now I just have to find someone who likes that better than I do when it is time to sell. ;)

Yes, but you have to have someone that will pay for rarity. I had a 2001 Mercedes SL600 it was 1 of 237 made. No one wanted to pay extra because it was rare when I sold it. See my signature line as well. sometimes rarity does not mean more valuable. just an opinion.
