personally I think if your car is nice enough it wouldn't matter what your license plate says (in reguards to being a target for theft). I think all of our cars are nice enough to be stolen and a license plate would make zip, zero and zilch of a difference. I will ask the Hooters girls...

to me the early ones are kinda cool but I just don't like the shape as much as the 64-66's. early tbirds are really nice cars when restored properly but just not my cup of Joe.

collector car insurance here in the states is easy to get. I just told them what I had, vin number and the amount I wanted coverage for. One of my cars I have 45k coverage and it is around $400 a year with zero deductable. sorry to hear it is such a pain up there.
