    1968 Hi Guys New Here

The base # is C7ZA-2882-C the idler is cast and has no number. I am reasonably sure it is a 67 part because it only has 2 attach points. I have been looking for a 68 with 3 attach points. When I took the pictures I had not found the correct vertical compresser mount and idler pully. I bought 3...

Post your car show or race wins here!

If it never boils over I would test the temp with a laser tester. The old senders and gages are not real accurate. Marty

    1968 New owner of a GT/CS

... I was almost ready to buy a coupe, but using the CS saves me thousands in tail area parts, shipping and bodywork to fit... and is what was used by Shelby for the original EXP. Done two near concours restos and while I appreciate them and originality was looking for a slight deviation, am...

    1968 Exhaust tips

Rich I use a company in Omaha Ne. called Industrial Plating. They do real nice work at a fair price and they are handy for me as I am in Omaha frequently for supplys. Besides the chrome plating they do phosphate and oil, zink and zink dichromate. Here are some of my other bits and pieces. Marty

1968 Is this the factory correct mirror for the GT/CS

Long as it is the correct style it would be acepctable in the MCA concours trailered class. NPD has a reproduction that is nice for 44.95. Only the thoroughbred class requires all parts to be Ford. We see very few of these cars. Marty

    1968 Exhaust tips

I got some more parts back from the plater to day and the orginal Ford GT exhaust tips came out great. In the second picture you can still see the Ford oval. I was not aware that the orignal tips were chrome plated and not stainless steel until Scott Fuller let me know. Marty
