I get about 14 mpg with my 289 motor and 10-11 with the 390. Both autos

I have the LED's in one of my Cs's and will put them into the other when I get around to it. highly suggest them.

yep, that was the incorrect 67 air cleaner that came with the car. It has the correct setup now.

now you have a good excuse to paint the taillight panel.

what a bummer I highly suggest getting the LED taillights cause the stock brake lights can be hard to see.

I think when the modern CS comes out it will open the eyes of people to ours. I bet you Ford will use ours in their advertising of the new ones. Cross your fingers.

302's (non Shelby's) had 8 inch all Shelby's had 9 inch

my 6 year old does the same. I have even played a few games with him. kinda cool.

390's and 428's had 9 inch.

starter solenoid sounds bad. if this happens again take a hammer or screwdriver handle and tap the top of the solenoid, it will kill the engine. I have also had this problem after adding a "concours correct" new solenoid. These things have to be grounded PERFECTLY to the engine compartment or...

another tidbit of info on Texas plates: in 66 and 68 the plates were black with white letters. In 67 and 69 they were white with black letters. I could go on about each year if I were at home, I have a complete collection of Texas plates from 1917 to 1976 on my garage wall.

modifying the engine like that is a MAJOR job.
