1968 Another disc brake question - so I don't hijack the other thread

Why can't you run larger rim on the factory set up? I have seen many cars with aftermarket rim that did not change the brakes. A complete set up can be put together with a little work on ebay.

Looks like to me that many that are restored are too dark and the grain too deep by the looks of your wheels. Thanks Marty

1968 Close up pictures of Deluxe steering wheel grain

I just sent ours of to Mustang Masters in FL. It was in pretty rough shape. Mustang Masters and Bill Herdon's Pony Warehouse both have restored ones on Ebay. 1968 Non Power Brakes

The PB gives the nice soft pedal that we are all use to now. Drum brakes are very effective when they are correctly adjusted. I did this conversion on a 6cil. Mustang W/ the 9 inch brakes ( not the best brakes) and I was amazed at how well they worked. Marty

1968 New life for the old red HCS

White accent paint stripe was a option any 68 mustang could have had. It was a pin stripe that ran down the top side body line. It is some thing that you do not see that ofter on HCS or GT-CS. I am not sure I like it but most likely will put it back on. I think I have a old picture of it I'll...
