    1968 Paint color change

I am just about the most concours correct guy you will meet. As most have said above it is your car make it what you want it will not greatly effect value. I would suggest staying with a 68 Ford color. I would not have the door data tag changed. That is one thing as a judge and a collector that...

We have them in our yard in Nebraska too. We liked them at frist till removed the bark off a 300 dollar tree. They eat our flowers and the bird seed from the bird feeder. They even came on the pourch to eat the flowers in the pots. I am not a hunter but was think of getting a permit! Marty

    1968 dash pad reproduction

Every reproduction I have seen I would deduct -1 for texture. The problems you have may be that yours was cleaned regularly wit Armorall. It makes the vinyl hard. I would search in the northern rust belt states, they part a lot of cars that did not see a lot of sun. What color are you looking for?

    1968 Fuel Line Warning

I think that the front half can be bought from Classic tube. I may a a exta fronts laying around all though it is most likly not stainless steel. I would go ahead and change the whole line because often they rust on the inside too. That is a big problem with cars that have sat around. Just my...

    1968 Fuel Line Warning

On kind of a related subject. I see a lot of old rusty mustangs brought back from the dead and then 5-6 hunderd horsepower dropped in. Then they are taken out and ridden hard with some distasterious structural failers do to poor repairs and hidden rust that went unrepaired. A thoroughly rust...

    1968 Fuel Line Warning

Rob this is a very common problem here in the rust belt. If it is not a concours car I would recomend replacing it with a stainless section on the front. Man I hate that when you have gas running all over and can't stop it. I am glad there was not a hot light or spark! Marty

    1968 Hood Locks

There is no real good way to refinish them. It would cost less to buy the reproduction for around $100. I may have a old pair laying around. Marty
