I just went back and edited the ad to get it up do date, so everything stated in the revised ad is the current condition of the car.
I'm going to take pictures this weekend and place them on my Photobucket site. I can also send you a list of all the new parts on the car if you'd like to see...
Since it's a unibody car odds are that all GT/CSs have what could be considered frame damage after 47 years. Does your car have serious frame damage or just 47 years worth of bending and tweaking?
Most frame sagging and twisting can be fixed by a frame tech with a few hours on a rack.
Another thing to keep in mind is that prices for these cars are rapidly climbing. I'm afraid the days of purchasing good drivers for $15,000 are long gone.
OK, I've had my fun, and this two-car garage thing just isn't working out, so the car is officially for sale. I hope to get the new AC charged this week or next.
The power steering is back on the car and works well, and I found the 8-track I purchased on eBay.
I agree with Steve. The car needs a complete interior and the left quarter most likely needs to be replaced but I didn't see any major rust. Perform a little work on the brakes, suspension, steering, and fuel system, and the car could be a driver.
Everyone who ordered shirts and embroidering should have them next week.
Steve,
Your total is $68. You can PayPal to [email protected] or send a check to Arlie Moses, 10101 N Moore Street, Spokane, WA 99208.
Greg,
The cars were built in batches and the last batch seems to have been July 18th even though many of those cars have scheduled build dates of July 30th & 31st.
An example is this car.
