    Another '68...

...was added to the collection today, tho not a GT/CS. We picked up this very clean coupe from its original owner (who bought it off the showroom in LA in 68) at a remarkable price! My son TJ was parusing the local ads as he always does & asked if we could "just go look dad"... What we...

The GT/CS perspective vs. the resto-mod hype

...My next planned outing probably won't be until June 30th and another local car show. by then I should have another 390 4-spd delivered. No video of substance from me so far, but we could plan some depending on Mike's car being ready... Tons of still photos tho.

    Hotrod Magazine...

...Has anyone here seen the latest issue? A friend brought one by today to show me how someone is producing brand new '67 fastback Mustangs - complete stamped sheet metal body & frame members from original dies? He didn't leave it w/ me, so I didn't get a chance to read it. Brand new '67...

The GT/CS perspective vs. the resto-mod hype

...The next Sacto Autorama should definitely be a Mike "somethingspecial" thing far as our area is concerned. He's certainly paid the price. I'll be happier to fly the "camera ship" on his way there ;-)

Do you think I could sell 2K GT/CS Books?

Okay..... Up we go! Put me down for five!!

Do you think I could sell 2K GT/CS Books?

...I sense "pre-next-big-step" jitters here Paul. Advance confidently in your own dreams and everything else will take care of itself. Often times better than you ever imagined. You've certainly paved a long enough runway - so... "Time to take off" ;-)

The GT/CS perspective vs. the resto-mod hype

Well, the white one's already perty darn close (98% Marti save for the dual exhaust) and I don't drive it very much. The 390 would be next w/ alot of detailing, removal of electric fuel pump, correct wheels, paint job and correct intake w/ smog system. (a certain Sheriffs Deputy around here...

The GT/CS perspective vs. the resto-mod hype

...Personally, I don't view concours restoration as a challenge per se - I could easily facilitate one if I wanted to. But what would I do with it when I was done? I enter the local shows with very clean cars, then with friends; drive them... Many CSs here operate that way, yet are maintained...

The GT/CS perspective vs. the resto-mod hype

John, if I were a 40yr owner of a 428CJ CS that has been as well kept as yours - you can bet I wouldn't restomod it! And being privileged to see Mike's 390GT start up for the first time last night affirmed admiration and respect for those of you who go to extremes for authenticity. At the same...

Another 390, 4 speed car for Sale

With a June build date- should it have the recessed reflectors on the rear quarters? Mike pointed that out to me a few minutes ago... Have the quarters been changed or??...

    It's Alive!!!!!

A proud day indeed!! Here's the pictures Mike wanted to post ('had to shrink 'em a bit...) After a little carb float and timing adjustment, she started and ran relatively smoothly! Once we set the mixture screws and fuss w/ the timing a little more - she'll be a winner! As Robinette has to go...

    Cruisin' Grand

Joe, there was a blue 1970 Boss 302 that belonged to the late Bear Smith, a former Blue Angels pilot who lived here in Grass Valley. It was bequeathed & shipped to someone in the LA area last September. I'm curious if it is one of those you will meet with... Please ask (if you suspect) if a...
