What kind of cars did your parents own growing up?

We just got those in our new Expedition. I can't wait for the warm weather to see how effective they are. So far they seem like they will be pretty cool! (pardon the pun)

What kind of cars did your parents own growing up?

My Dad used to keep his cars for about 10 years before replacing them. Not intentionally it just worked out that way. In my lifetime he had the following all purchased new except where noted: 1958 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon 1968 Ford LTD Country Squire Wagon 1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88 1990...

Gotta feel sorry for the kids of today

Rap and the Electric Slide is what I used to call an occupational hazard when I DJ'd. I never listened to country until I started dating my wife. Italian Girl from The Bronx - listens to country - go figure. And she got it from her Dad who came to NYC in the 60's from Italy! He is old school...

Gotta feel sorry for the kids of today

Wow - flashbacks to sitting and playing my guitars to all those songs Mike mentioned. Year of the Cat is an awesome song - especially the extended intro version. Always remember when my older brother got a "real" stereo and I would put that on and crank it up. Still do to this day. America...

    CS Class At Car Show

I'm not sure how many CS's they get there. I believe the show is 4/22. I don't have the flyer in front of me right now but I looked it up on the web and I see it listed for that date. It's not the Reno Restomod show, it's the April show at their place. Their website doesn't have the info on...

Paul, Somewhere I lost some pics of my car. I think possibly when my hard drive crashed at work. I went to take some pics tonight but the digital's batteries were dead (go figure). Dodge Daytonas

I like the Charger a lot. Back seat was a little small though for car seats. Seriously considered it though. The R/T is a V8 - 340 HP w/ 390 lb-ft torque The Daytona R/T is a V8 w/ 340 HP and dual exhaust, ground effects, spoiler and special paint schemes The SRT8 is the V8 with 425 HP 420...

    CS Class At Car Show

I think they have it every year, but thought it's worth mentioning that Mustangs Plus will have a 1968 California Special class at their car show. Got their flyer today - they are located in Stockton, CA I think registrations are due by 4/17 or sooner to be eligible for trophies.

    manual to power steering swap

Hey Sara, I was considering going to a smaller wheel with my manual CS. Do you think it's better with the factory wheel ? If you think it's much better with the factory wheel I may just leave it as is for now.

    ebay 390 gt/cs has arrived.

I can relate to that as well. In the case of the previous owner of my car he really felt it was more than it was. I was realistic and don't get me wrong - it's a great car - but I learned that "all original" is often not what you think it is. To this day he still hates that he had to give the...

    New Members

That is one thing I loved about this site since day one. I've been on other car forum sites where you literally are abused for posting a question that was previously asked. I will search first using the forum search function and then if I can't find it I will post the question - never once did...
