Special Purchase of GT/CS Diecast Model

I believe the pictures on the greenlight site are actually of Don's cars and not the diecast model. Don like I have had the script mounted incorrectly at some point along the way. Don on the drivers side and mine on the passenger side. Something I'll address in the future when a paint job is...

CS in Barrett Jackson sold for 49,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Jason for clarifying. It makes sense - I didn't realize they would even let you bid on your own car. But to them (B-J) - they make their money either way.

CS in Barrett Jackson sold for 49,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jason, I'm not sure I understand. I mean I understand what a no reserve auction is but ... Can an owner bid on his own car in a no-reserve but can't in one with a reserve? And if he does bid on his own car in a no-reserve auction. What happens if he wins? Or were you saying he could...

68 GT Coupe and 68 GT/CS Diecast Model

I would think a direct sell is possible but they may have to sell to us at the suggested retail price. Personally I don't have a problem with that if we're guaranteed the quantity and color we want. Much like if you go to the Sony or HP site, the price is almost exactly what you pay at...

2007 GT/CS Info Posted on Mustang Source

Not sure if anyone else caught this and posted this but I don't see it and the site says it was updated Sunday 1/15 so here it goes. Mustang Source is reporting the GT/CS for 2007. The biggest for 2007 is that the Shelby Cobra GT500--unveiled at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show--will be available...

    CS Restomod in Restomod Magazine

I'm not sure if someone else has posted this but I didn't see it. The latest issue of Restomod Magazine, a bi-monthly newsletter from Mustangs Plus, has a cover story on a custom built resto-mod CS. If anyone is interested I can try to scan it and post it to the site. Any press is good press...

    Original 390 fastback with Paperwork

I was looking at this on Collector Car Trader Online and thought ... seems to be quite a story. Then I looked at the floor maps and thought it was odd they had Charlotte on them. My thought went to North Carolina and maybe the story is too good to be true. Then when I looked at the paperwork...

nada value for CS and HCS

I admit, the look got me interested but the history sold me. If I didn't research the CS I wouldn't have realized the rarity of the HCS. I do admit though that talking to people at car shows here in NY, they are aware of the HCS even those slightly familiar with the CS seem to know something...
