. What is Your Winter Project

I buckled down all winter and paid off debt, cleared all my debt with the exception of the house and that will clear within the next 12-18 months depending on how diligent I am. Cleared over 80K in the past year and a half. Soon to be debt free...unless I build a new shop???

Be interesting to see if Jon has a way to sort the members in the member list by when you signed on with CS.com. The numbers are there and if I remember right he just added some sort features to the list. Just went and tried and it does, easily, never tried it before, kind of interesting, a...

Sounds like somebody needs to start an elite on line classic car auction site to do what BJ and the likes are not. Ebay is too all encompassing with no validation, never been to BJ or any of the others but it sounds like they are all about the show for the most part. Start a web site that...

I will certainly be looking to stop by and say hi, that's the biggest reason I'm going, so I can see you guys and your cars, the rest will just be a little icing on the cake. Yes sir, I've tried Moose Drool, I prefer a little less dark with most things but there are times I like a good dark beer.

Once I've walked through, seen all the cars, taken a few pictures, visited with a few owners, I'm ready to move on. I don't want to have to stay there the rest of the day and the following day. Just don't have the patience I guess, I like to see the cars, take them in, visit with the owners...

That's kind of interesting, short of Admin and HC Bob I can't find any of the gang that still hangs out on a regular basis with a lower number than mine, 153, I guess I'll just hang back with my low sign on number and you guys can go for the chase cup on post numbers.

It is interesting how things are what they are, to a die hard purist it (clone) isn't real, yet it's right there in front of you tangible and with most of the right parts it's no different than the original physically. You can touch it, it is real, it is what it is and to some it will be...

    . Modest Dream Garage

Hating the function and working with sheetrock I opted for 1/2" plywood on the walls in my garage, I insulated, put up the 1/2 in plywood, painted and caulked all the seams and now when I want to hang something I can put in a screw or drive in a nail where ever I want and hang it up and other...

1968 Another disc brake question - so I don't hijack the other thread

The SSBC system I just had installed allows for the 14" factory wheels. I didn't go power so I'm not sure what the difference would make but the disc's are sized to allow factory wheels.

Well you guys just keep on perfecting your shops/garages, I'm on a mission of debt free and I just paid off the last debt that I have short of our house which will now be the target and should only take about 12-16 months dependent upon how diligent I stay. It has taken us right at 2 years to...

Paul, I think you hit the nail on the head for me when you talked about the smile on the kids faces as to why I like to take the car to the ball games and practices more than I like taking it to shows. I enjoy the kids reaction to the car at the games more than I do anyone elses reaction or...

    1968 Non Power Brakes

I just installed SSBC disc brakes on the front last fall, tucked it away and haven't had a chance to get the alignment done and really test them out yet, too cold, too much snow. The drive home from the shop was a big improvement, however he went through the entire brake system front and back...

I've been to one show in I.F. at Tauphus Park several years back, again I didn't enter and most of the time I don't even drive the Mustang down I take the comfort cars, don't know why, guess I just don't see my car as a show piece I just go to enjoy seeing other peoples cars. The times that I...
