    Green Hornet Articles

Thought I'd move the Green Hornet stuff to its own thread since we seem to have derailed the 2009 color thread! Jeff's Original Link to Hemmings Here's another Green Hornet article from the October 1994 issue of Mustang Illustrated.

What Colors would you like to see available for the 2009 GT/CS?

Where in the world did they get the picture of the rear seat? It looks like it's from a full-size Ford with a red exterior.

    shelby and 2007 GT/CS ?

What Colors would you like to see available for the 2009 GT/CS?

As with all colors it all depends on how the color works with the particular car. For example orange looks great on a Camaro but IMHO looks awful on a Mustang. Lime Gold is a great color for both old and new Mustangs. It just works with the cars' lines.

    Dutch fog light question

Which lights are you calling the running lights, the turn signals or the front fender lights? My understanding is that the taillights and the front fender lights should come on, just like with the headlight switch. It was a new safety issue in '68. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

What in the world are hypereutectic pistons???

    Trashed 289 - now what?

I'm just trying to point out that there may be a slight difference in gas mileage (and possibly reliability) between a bored 289 with a moderate cam and a 351 punched and stroked to a 427.

    Trashed 289 - now what?

Not to be a total wet blanket, but how you are going to drive the car should also come into play. I drive mine nearly 10K per year so I'm leaning a little more towards decent mileage. Summer is on its way and when it gets here gas will probably be pushing $4.00 per gallon. Just something to...
