with the key in the lock, and the paper clip in the hole, push the paper clip in, there should be a little spring you have to push back.while doing this, turn the key counter clockwise and maybe pull a little to pull the lock mechanism out. if i am remembering correctly, that should be the trick

when, and not very often, i slow to 60 mph, and i reset the digital mpg, it will read in the low 30's up to 34 and it will read that consistantly as long as i stay at 60 mph

its a completly unique body that is shared with the shelby gt, the only cars that come from the factory with side scoops. i know there is room for improvement from ford but considering what they have been producing the 80's and 90's. i finally figureded out why those don't do it for me...
