The hanger makes a great door unlocker too.

From what I've been able to figure out the diameter of the optional F70-14 tires was around 26 1/4" with a tread width of 6 3/4" and a cross section of 8 1/4". If those numbers are correct (or nearly so) the following list of tires and wheels should fit for overall diameter. Width and rubbing...

No universal fix-it.......duct tape? Fuses are a good thing to keep in the glove box

Wow, that looks pretty good!

The 1/24 scale kit I bought from Keith has the California Special script but it doesn't look as chrome-like as what's on the model. I'll see what he can do about that.

Once in a while on eBay there are 1/24 scale GT/CS stripes for auction by a guy named Keith Marks. I recently asked him if he could get 1/18 scale stripes. Here is his response While I could enlarge them to 1/18th I couldn't guarantee that they will fit. Still interested? Keith Marks...

If someone would make a GT/CS hearse or limo I could put it in the funeral museum!!!!

As ambiguous as Marchals are I'm sure someone has bought similar lights thinking they found a bargain. I wonder if Marchal lenses will fit in those housings? Another version of the Marchal we haven't talked about yet is the 658, which seems to look just like the 656 and and 653. I think there...

Paul, are these the lights? Here is a link to an old thread about them. http://www.californiaspecial.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2767&highlight=fake+marchals

They show up on eBay every once-in-a-while. I bought a set real cheap and am considering installing them on my Lucas-equipped car.

No blood, no foul. If you really want to rile up the masses just suggest putting Corvette door handles on a GT/CS, or suggest powering one with an Infiniti 3.5L V6!!!!! Don't ask how I know; just trust me on that advice. BTW, I think you and Rhonda live in the same part of the world.

Thinking of starting a Tim collection?

Why do so many people think that every bad event in our nation's history is the result of a conspiracy? It looks like we have become a 60-minutes and Oliver Stone inspired (conspired?) generation.

The housings certainly look like Marchals, but to me they look too big.

Is there any other way to prove the lights are 653s? If there is no other way then it may be wise to keep the stamps.

Donna, there appears to be a seat belt restorer in Lake Havasu! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200053556885&fromMakeTrack=true

Personally, I can envision red stripes only with a white (parchment) or red interior. Any other interior color might clash.

Mustgetastang2, you have just experienced our tendency to go way, way off topic. If you randomly check some threads you'll probably find that most of them don't stay on topic for long. Sorry, but we just can't help ourselves.
