That is a '67 mirror. I had one on my old GT/CS. Don't have to worry about them getting pulled off the windshield.

They sent me a faster flasher unit after I complained to them about the slow blinking speed. IMO the new flasher is too fast but it's better than the slow one.

Since the lights are affected by voltage and the problem occurs only when the car is running could either the alternator or the voltage regulator be the problem?

I agree. The Eleanor fad greatly skewed the Mustang market towards fastbacks, but it seems to me that lately they might be coming back down to reality a little. Coupes and GT/CSs are still a bargain.

There was one on eBay a few months ago that went for well over $1,000. It might have been NOS, though. I can't remember for sure.
