    Wow, What a Mustang day!

Tim, if I remember correctly that transmission has reverse on the opposite side from a normal top-loader. My old 4-speed (Ford top loader) had reverse to the left and back but I believe yours is to the right and back. That makes my think that it is possible your transmission is not a Ford...

    New Super-Duper Wax

The July 2006 edition of "Auto Restorer" has a little blurb in it about a new wax. I’ve never heard of the stuff but it sounds interesting. From the article: Here in the world of automotive restoration I'm often bombarded with news of the latest product for making the old ride shine. I hear...

    Bumper Replacement Questions

And, of course, your feet are under the bumper as you are unbolting it so when it falls it lands on your toes. And what's even more fun than that is to watch the license plate light wire snap as the bumper falls off.

    Funny street Names

According to the web there is a Climax, MN and there is a Fertile, MN, and Googling, "Fertile Woman Dies in Climax" returns a bunch of references to the infamous headline but no actual scan of the headline or even what paper it was in. I think it's an urban myth...

Some rural Minnesotans like to quote an old newspaper headline that they swear is true, "Fertile woman dies in Climax". I do not know if the headline is true.

    Woodgrain Instrument Bezel

Can anyone use a new woodgrain instrument bezel? I installed it in my car but just didn't like how the woodgrain looked. It looks to me like the glue under it is uneven, either that or I'm just too picky. The bottom of each large gauge pod also has a blemish about half way back. Not sure...

    Exceptional Looking GT/CS on eBay

My thoughts exactly, Don. I kept scrolling through the pictures thinking how good the car looked, but then the engine picture made me wonder if this car's beauty is only skin deep. I don't mind an un-detailed engine compartment but seeing one where everything on the engine is painted blue...

    Interesting Interior

This car has a, shall we say, "unique" interior. Not sure what he did to the dash panels. Is that some sort of faux finish? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Ford-Mustang-Coupe_W0QQitemZ4653003074QQihZ002QQcategoryZ6236QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    Exceptional Looking GT/CS on eBay

I sent the seller an email asking about the engine. It certainly has a dealer's engine paint job, Ford blue everywhere.
