Ditto. Well said Doug.

What size are the tires?

Doug, if I remember correctly they are all 289 2V autos

I have a standing order in with these guys. They have found a few cars that I didn't know about but all in all I seem to find the cars before they do. http://www.classicmustang.com/locating_service.htm If someone else doesn't do it first I'll try to find some of the old posts dealing with...

That's a good idea. A new air conditioned storage complex is going in right down the street from me. I have a line on another green one I'd buy before the one in New York, though. Maybe this spring when the aqua one is on the road, Christmas is over, and I have more money in the bank...

My wife is going to be in New York next week and said she would check it out for me if I wanted. What a gal!!!

It's the automotive Holy Grail!!!!! A Highland Green GT/CS. Here is someone's Green Hornet starting point. If only I had Casey's garage I'd go for it but (sigh) I don't. I think I need to call Von Quack!:cry...

For anyone looking for Lucas fog lights (either NOS or used) I've found eBay.uk to be a good source. Shipping is usually between $35 to $50 for a pair. Be sure to check the "Worldwide" box on the left side of the screen when doing the search. You might be able to get the same results by...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with cheap and goofy. That's why I have 50 different grinch ties. At around $9 each on eBay they are certainly cheap and it goes without saying that they are goofy!

Bandit, if you are going to inspect the car there are a number of things you can look for that can get you to 99% sure but only a Marti report will be 100% accurate. Let us know if you want to know what to look for and we can list the main items.

I know I have a couple in the garage but I'm not sure what shape they are in. Will let you know tonight.

Good point Doug. And Mike, if it will make someone happy to have his or her GT/CS signed by Shelby why put a damper on that enthusiasm? Let the people do what makes them happy. I can't see how it could negatively affect your life in any way if they do so. How about easing up a lilttle on...

I like the looks of the pads, especially the knee pad. The pillar post pads may or may not end up in the car, haven't decided yet. They can tend to look a little clunky in some cars so I'll probably temporarily glue them on and see if my wife likes them before I drill holes in the A-pillars...

What is a Ford Falcon XBGT? Will you post a picture?

I was going to use them for my seat covers and foam but they didn't reply to my email request for information. Not a good way to run a retail business.

Jason, I'm kind of like you in that it will never be truely done but I'm hoping to have it inspected, licensed, and on the road in January.

Now that Mike has identified the week spots we should be able to add metal to the places in question. For example sandwiching the recessed hole with a washer on each side should lessen the stress on that area and it might be possible to epoxy another layer of sheet metal all along the inside of...

Here is a list of what I've spent so far to replace the interior of my GT/CS. I hope some of you find it helpful. If you see any prices that seem way out of line please share your thoughts with the rest of us so others don't follow my lead and make the same mistake. Ebay Upper Console $201...
