    1968 The Saga Continues

Looking good, I used the Ron Morris motor mounts also. I installed a T-5 trans and wanted to have some wiggle room for trans and headers. It was a good call and a very easy install. They appear to be well made and heavy duty.

    . First drive in 25

Today was a milestone day. My GT/CS took it's first run on it's own power in the last twenty five years today. I drove it around the block. Up to about 35 and through the first 3 gears. Runs great and no weird noises, brakes don't pull and I even got the steering close enough it goes fairly...

    1968 AC controls

Rather than modify the controls, why not use the controls from a non A/C car? The center dash piece is just an insert and you might have to replace the right side dash insert also. I'm not certain how it attaches on a stock car.

    . Mystery Tools

I've have had this tool in my box for years and I still don't know what it is. I found it at a Lincoln Mercury dealership that went out of business about 25 years ago. Have any of you seen one of these before? Do any of you have other obscure tools that nobody has been able to figure out?

    1968 Shoulder Harness

Hi Shaun, I don't remember what size it was. I can say that the bolt was a slightly smaller diameter than the seat belt bolt. Definitely a very fine thread. Hope this helps a little bit. Cheers.

I say Red, although you could always change the interior to say... Black and go with a black stripe.

    . Water pump pulley

"The book shows that a 289 w/AC has a 2 sheaves water pump pulley with a 5 7/8' O.D. The correct marking is C6AE8509-A". Thanks for the info, this is definitely the one I need. The one I currently have is 6 1/2" diameter which is too big. Green, I don't mind waiting Rob, I'll call Louis on...

    . Water pump pulley

I am installing a A/C system in my car. This requires changing the two groove crank pulley to a three groove pulley. The three groove pulley is approximately 1/2" larger diameter than the two groove crank pulley. This makes the water pump pulley to large, hitting the new crank shaft pulley...

    1968 Shoulder Harness

Happy Thanksgiving all. Can someone tell me what the measurements are for the mounting bolt/screw that holds the shoulder harness/belt in place. The headliner is in and I thought it would be easy to find the holes. Wrong. Measurements from the headliner seam and from the beltline up to bolt...
