California Special: Its a 6 cil worth to purchase?

My opinion is 6 or 8 wouldn't matter under the right circumstances. 1. One is not concerned with the seat of your pants thrill horsepower gives you. 2. You are restoring the car for yourself to keep yourself. If you have no plans on selling it, resale value shouldn't be an issue. If the car...

    X of 3867

No problem, Paul said we have more than 1000 GT/CS's in the registry now. That narrows it down. The guy with the lowest vin number in the registry is between #1 and 2868 (give or take a few). The guy with the highest vin number is between #100X and 3867. Does this help??????

PICTURES from Grass Valley Show (featuring Midnight Special and Something Special)

I would love to know what was going through that little Girls mind. I can come up with about ten things right off the bat. What an expression. Nice to see that many CS's all together. Looks like a lot of fun!

Found CS for sale w/ 429 engine

It could be a standard 429 and not a Boss. The boss would be wider than the standard due to those monster heads. This is a photo I found online of a standard 429 and a chart showing the difference between all Ford motors. I think it's interesting it shows the Boss to be 100 pounds lighter than...

    Which marchals are correct?

Don, Do your 658's have the same bulbs as the 656's? I admit I havn't compared the two I have (656's up on the shelf) but if memory serves the 656's had large bulbs and openings and my 658's have small openings and I haven't tried to put bulbs in them yet. It's my intention to use the 658's...

    Anyone collect and shoot guns?

I've got an 1884 Springfield from the civil war. Back when I was about 16 some friends and I took a 30-30 shell filled it full of powder and stuffed a rag in the end. It was pretty cool, I'm lucky to still have my head.

What kind of cars did your parents own growing up?

My father was a Ford Dealer while I was growing up. He always drove a brand new T-bird, switched to a crown vic and now drives an Expedition. I learned how to drive in a brand new lipstick red 75 t-bird with white leather interior. High horse power nope, cool factor for a 15 year old kid, yep.
