    Rita update from Houston

Paul I think an essential question is with what type of water. If it's salt water a complete restoration would be the only way to save your car (providing you want it to last through the years). The salts in the water would corrode and short out your electrical system. They would also start...

Has it really been two years. I remember that discusion and that the weights were close. ....... Two years, How time flys. I have a Stam-Bar rear sway bar but can't advise if it helps or not. Still a long way from being road ready here.

    Classic Car Insurance

All you Houstonians stay safe and dry. Rita looks to be a big one. Me and my family are going up to Dallas for a few days leaving early tomorrow. My children 8 and 10 have visions in their minds of sitting in the attic with a water bottle and a hatchet watching the water rise and the wind...

    CS model

I second that motion. I had a 71 Bronco that color, I never liked that color. It does hide the dirt well but that's about the only thing good I'll say about it. This guy says it's his favorite....Go figure ::)

    9" photo please

Thanks Jason. Jon That hole is an anomaly. I guess it would be possible that Ford used a Bronco rear housing and then set it up for the Mustang. It looks like a factory produced hole, very clean edges and not threaded ??????????????????????????????.

    9" photo please

Rather than tap it, I'm going to weld a small plate over it. It will still look OK (no worse than an unkown bolt) and I won't have to worry about a bolt ever coming loose. I been away from the computer a couple days. OMG :o lol So can someone send me a photo of a stock colored 9" for our...

    9" photo please

Can someone post or email me a photo of the 68 Mustang 9" differential taken from the front side? I currently have mine taken apart and want to detail to original (even though it's not) when I put it back together. I'm also interested to know if the bumper is mounted on the car (as my 8" bumper...

    Frame Enhancement/Modification ?

All of the Eleanors Shelby is building have them. I have kicked this one around also and haven't ever come up with a serious pro or con for the driving I expect to do. I'm interested on hearing some good input on this issue also. Cheers

Trivia questions on engine bay size

The Boss 429 was fitted by an aftermarket company called Kar Kraft. The shock towers on those cars were chopped 1" on each side to make room for those lovely monster motors

Trivia questions on engine bay size

They are both the same width and use the same model number export brace. I believe the 69-70 compartment is a touch longer.

    Hooters

I was under the impression that black leather bras were purely for visual impact. Now I find out they keep hooters from sagging also. Hmmmmm I will have to research this one a bit more ;D

    Hooters

You will generally find upon close inspection that this is the case on all models.
