    Need Help Troubleshooting

Paul, In the time you are not trouble shooting on this, I would disconnect your battery cables. Just in case. It would be a shame to short out a new battery or something else.

    Headliner Installation Tricks

All the articles I've looked at say to lay the headliner out in a warm spot to get flexible prior to installation. With the weather we have here in Houston that's an easy task. You might want to take advantage of the warm days while you have them.

    Plates: Black or Personalized

I paid about $40 for the pair. Because they now look very different than the modern plates, I think the original year plates stand out as much as the new name plates. As a bonus you don't have to pay more every year for the priviledge of displaying them on your car. Are the Min plates black...

    Plates: Black or Personalized

Sara, if the reproduction plates are very good, I wouldn't say a word about them being repros and try to use them. Personally, I would tell the person behind the counter I had them restored (to explain them looking new). When I lived in Calif. my personalized plates read "NFRNTAU" I know...

    Engine Heat Problem

No personal experience on this one, but everything I've read says it's a good idea. At best it will tighten up your ignition system. The stock chain can stretch over a period of years. Also a double roller timing chain won't set you back too many dollars. I was watching spike TV yesterday and...

    Headliner Installation Tricks

Seriously Arlie's right. The clips really seemed to help keep the headliner where we wanted it to be.

    Picking up the car today

I'm also a member of the sight unseen club. My car was far from what I was told I was getting and less than what I expected. We were able to roll it off the truck and up into the driveway. The nicest thing for me was that everything was there. No guesswork. I'm almost to the point of my...

    Found one The fun Begins

I just looked at this car and frankly it looks like a solid $35,000 car. He's a little high but come on y'all. Seriously, if people stopped selling GT/CS's for 10-20k people who wanted one would pay more. When Ford comes through with a new GT/CS, we will definitely see a rise in the demand of...

Shelby Club (SAAC), and the GT/CS Registry,

I don't see any negatives from being included in the SAAC. Will I run out and become a member, time will tell. I do see a few positives. Recognition and exposure value would go up. Not only will Pauls books be out there promoting our cars but the SAAC books will do it as well. Guys with the...

    Thinking of selling my CS

I think your wife knows you better than you do. I think most wives know thier spouses better than they do. It's scary...... Anyway, based on that.... Unless you are really strapped for the cash or space, I would go with your wifes council. Do it for her. She doesn't want to hear "I sure wish...

    Need some help please

You might run it jumped to your other car (that car running). This way you will be sure to have full current to your system. If it's still dim, start checking the smaller items mentioned. If it brightens up with the jumper then it probable is a charging problem.

    Monte Carlo Bar

Correction Arlie. Two holes if it fits correctly. My bar would take a bunch more. lol

How does one open this door?

That's why there is no arm rest, he installed the handle first and then the armrest wouldn't fit anymore. ??? ???

    vinyl top

While doing the bodywork on my car. We came up with this hole in the rear portion of the sail panel under the lead. Do all the Mustangs have these holes in them or were just the cars with vinyl tops outfitted with them? It seems like a lot of work for someone to cover the hole with lead but...

    Monte Carlo Bar

This is a photo of it. It's way off. From what has been said, I am going to make a template of the bolt holes in relation to fender top and take it with me when I return this item. I'll take this photo with me too.

    Monte Carlo Bar

I know many of you have Monte Carlo Bars on your Mustangs. I bought a bar recently and went to test fit it to my engine compartment. The holes did not match up with the holes already in the car. I'm not just talking about adding an additional hole on the top. I'm talking about the two holes...

    Texas Highway Patrol

I vote for Texas. Using California for instance, It takes us Houstonians much longer to get to California than it does for a Californian to get to Texas. If we drive from Houston to LA. When we get half way there we'll still be in Texas. ;D ;D

    Is this used for anything?

Every shop needs a BFH in it. I bought a new one just for this project. OK I admit it, I've bought more than one new tool for this project. Use it once and your justified in having it right? Oh, and I also bought a box of pain killers. That would be bandaides to those of you who don't have...
