    Potential GT/CS Purchase

She had drawer after drawer of stuff. Switches, trinkets, door handles, emblems, mirrors, and on and on. She even had a cial emblem. You know the Spe was busted off and lost across the years. lol There were correct me if I'm wrong Arlie, maybe a dozen or so NOS parts in boxes. Most were 65-66...

I am so old now that...

I'm not to old. After all that the only thing that sticks in my head is Sara in those jeans and Rhondas comment about winning wet T-shirt contests the other day ;D ;D I don't think anybody mentioned: Blue chip stamps. I found one while cleaning up my Mustang after I got it last September...

    Trunk Lid

Temporary fix but it will work. I used this one with high temp gasket sealer to get the BBQ smoker lid to seal. I would use clear silicone. Run a bead along the trunk lid edge where it does not seal and is leaking. Put a piece of saran wrap on top of it. Close your deck lid until it just...

New LED taillights for California Special

Don, You just solved one of my "find out eventually questions" with your posted photo. I have bought a set of the LED's to put on my car when it's finished and I had wondered if the square design would be visible from the back. In other words how carful on allignment did I need to be when...

    New Wheel Cover Theory

I'll help you beef up that coffe table! A 4x4 upright in the middle should do the job. You probably won't even need to drive a giant nail down through the top. The weight of that book should do it. ;D ;D

    Missing console??

Sara, This is another item under do what makes you happy. To add a center console that wasn't original, well it's just that. An add-on. My car didn't have one and I am one of the prople who don't care very much for the looks of them. My car will be going back together without a console. I feel...

Be Part of the GT/CS Registry DVD!

Come on Don, admit it. I don't buy "at that time no one really cared" If I took you to the beach gave you a 2005 GT and told you to tear it up for a commercial, you wouldn't do it? I would be surprised if you said NO. Not my car, if I blow it up they give me another, talk about the brody's...

My new 390 CS will be delivered Monday 5-23-05 updated

Re:My new 390 CS will be delivered Monday 5-23-05 Jason, Vintage air has a system that will install in place of your original heater. It will give you a better heater, A/C and use the original heater controls for operation. As far as the compressor goes I will be using the modern type but I...

    New Wheel Cover Theory

In a past post we all went round and round on wether the vinyl wrapped steering wheel covers were an original stock GT/CS items or not. I have a new theory. See the attached photo below. I think that Ford in an effort to make the GT/CS a little more luxurious/sporty installed the Cougar XR7...

My 9" rear has a hole near the vent lines. Can anybody tell me what that hole is for? It's the one with a plug that the arrow is pointing to.

    Air shocks

Speaking of air shocks and additional springs. I recently came across this one. A dealer installed auxiliary air spring assembley reportedly installed on 65-70 Mustangs. Anybody ever seen one of these? Also back to an old item, I would think that as long as you didn't overdo your pressure...

    Rear end Tag info

That could be the correct rear end for your GT/CS if you have a small block. That is an 8" ring gear with 28 spline axles.

    What constitues original?

Wow, I'm using THIS site as my therapy. If only I could turn my key. I admit it, I have a GT/CS bug. Kind of like the commercial of the guy walking around with a VW on his head. Only difference is I wear mine on the inside. lol

    Where to start

This last poster hotrod69dfw is the individual who made and sold out very quickly a run of GT/CS restorations videos. (or so we were told) Not one member on our site bought one of these videos. He also refused to allow any member to preview his video to promote it on this site. Just wanted to...
