    Restoration Costs

Here are my restoration costs to date. I also have spreadsheets that have broken my stuff into two categories: the need and the wish list. The wish list will push this number up to about 27,000 and the need list puts me right around 20,000 which seems to be the magic number. Bluto seems to...

    Ford 9" Rear End

I'm looking into putting a 9" rear end in my Mustang to keep from ruining the original. I estimate around 350 horses with the 351w I am installing which I believe is probably to much for the stock 8" rear. Do any of you know which model Ford cars have rear ends that will fit my application? If...

    Natural Parts Coatings

I have been dipping my parts in the strippers solution. The de-rusting solution works great. It does slightly darken the metal but takes all the rust away. On half painted parts it leaves the paint intact. Now that I have bare metal parts, I don't know what to use to protect them from rusting...

    Registry - Paul

Steve, On your 51K versus 151K. It may not be definitive but the things I was told to look for to determine + or - 100K were wear on the edges of the brake and gas pedals and wear on the inside of the brake drums. Based on these findings I believe my 25K car is in fact 25K. You could also...

    Restoration Costs

Wow Rhonda, you really het a nerve on this one. I think almost all couples have thier own way of dealing with this issue. Very seldom do couples inform each other of every single penny they spend. If ever, it just isn't feasible. The big stuff is another story again and everybody has a...

    Joining SAAC.

The value of any car is only what an individual is willing to give you for it. The more individuals who would like to purchase it, the more you can get for it. Esoecially if those individuals have lots of cash. LOL I for one saw my car 17 years ago and wanted it then. I found it was for...

What do the side scoops screws screw into?

Jason, We are assuming that it is at correct length prior to inserting. At this point in the screwing process rubbing it or applying more friction will only allow your screw to move in and out of the hole more freely. Remember you do not want to Waller your hole! Bill

    2006+ Mustang GT/CS News

Paul, If you had to couldn't you name your new book the same as your old book, revision 2005 or 2 or whatever? Can it be copywrite infringement if you are already published prior to them doing this? I would think you would be grandfathered from the new copywrite.

Headlamps on our new GT/CS - Help -

First thing I would do is change all the fuses in your fuse box. When your old fuses are out, clean all the contacts and then make sure you put the correct amperage fuses back in. You really don't know what the past owner did. Check and see if that works. If not use a testing light attached to...

    Modern tire size and brand?

Jason, Will you be using stock rims or aftermarket wheels? I liked the look of David Athans car and purchased the same size tires for my car. 245 x 45 front and 275 x 40 rears. I liked the look of the Yokohama's. If using stock rims, you could check with discount tire online website. Find the...

    Radio Antenna

My car came (to me) with a rectangular antenna base. I like the look of this base better than the round. Just curious how many other GT/CS's have a square base antenna and if it is also considered correct for our cars?
