Correction ... I just had a closer look at my trophy from yesterday (which was an engraved stainless steel "travelling coffee mug") and Pete and I were the winners in the '67 & '68 "all variations" class, so we were actually up against all of the coupes, fastbacks and convertibles ... Cool! :cool:

Today was the annual "Ford Spring Spectacular held up in Parksville at Joe Cunningham Ford. They clear their sales lot for the day and let our local Mustang club take it over for a show and shine. I won 2nd place in the '67 / '68 Coupe class, but I didn't feel bad since 1st place went to Pete...

Update ... Up here in Victoria today we're $1.32 per litre for regular gas which converts to about $5.00 per US gallon. 94 octane Super Premium from Chevron is at $1.60 per litre or about $6.00 per US gallon ...! :rolleyes:

Hmmmmm ... again ... I also just noticed that none of the 3 "R" code 428 GT/CS's are in the new online registry yet? We know that John's "R" code is currently undergoing restoration, and I see that there is a Candy Apple Red "R" code listed to a "Jason Stevens" in Paul's latest book, but there...

Hmmmm ... Kind of makes you wonder about the breakdown on all of the colour codes of the 215 "S" code cars. Our Marti Elite says that 27 of the 111 four speed cars were Candy Apple Red. (And only 6 of those 27 cars were ordered with the "GT" equipment group option, ours being one of them.) I...

No ... I think that was just the "hammer down" price ...

Auction results ... I just got an email from them and they sold the Highland Green GT/CS for $45,100.00 Canadian (or $45,555.25 US at current Canadian to US dollar conversion) ... :cool: (Guess I'd better up the insurance value on ours!) :eek:

Still no word yet ... I emailed them last night and asked if it sold and if so for how much. No response yet today ...

No results posted yet ... They still haven't posted the results of the 2012 auction yet, so it'll be a waiting game to see when they finally get to it ... :rolleyes:
