Per the Registry

I searched the Registry and found:

71 total A Paint code (Raven Black) GT/CS cars produced "Per Marti Auto Works".

There are 20 currently in the Registry, of those:

Eight (8) have Red interiors, 11 have black interiors of various fabric, and one (1) has a parchment Interior.

Three (3) S code 390GT-4V, only Two (2) have Red interior, yours and one other. The two cars seem to be close to the same. unknown stripe color, but as a rule, the stripe usually matches the interior, unless body color prohibits it. ie. black/black, then stripe would be white etc.

Keep in mind not all cars are in the Registry, or if in the Registry, don't show a Color Code. So the number may go up, but that is what we know today.

Hmmmm ...

Kind of makes you wonder about the breakdown on all of the colour codes of the 215 "S" code cars. Our Marti Elite says that 27 of the 111 four speed cars were Candy Apple Red. (And only 6 of those 27 cars were ordered with the "GT" equipment group option, ours being one of them.)
I know that the other "S" code four speed car here in Victoria is Highland Green (and still undergoing restoration).

I also just noticed that none of the 3 "R" code 428 GT/CS's are in the new online registry yet? We know that John's "R" code is currently undergoing restoration, and I see that there is a Candy Apple Red "R" code listed to a "Jason Stevens" in Paul's latest book, but there is also another Brittany Blue "R" code (R164038) listed in there as having been "spotted on 5/97". Has that car ever re-surfaced and has it been documented yet?

I knew having a CS with S code 390 was rare but now I'm even more proud to own one knowing there so little of its type around . I was crazy about owning a 64&1/2 official pace car because of its rarity but now I'm more than satisfied.

Jason never owned an R-code GT/CS. It is a mistake in the book. Jason turned in the information to Paul for the book, and was mistakenly listed as the owner.

There is an S code, black, 4 speed car in Bremerton. I know the owner, but not the VIN. I will see if he will give it to me. He painted my GNS.
