I just dropped him an email this morning asking his opinion about why our tach is only reading at about 50% of actual rpm and I had an immediate response from him. Seems like a great guy to deal with. If we can't fix the problem electrically and it winds up being a problem with the tach itself...

Late build date ... Our GT/CS was ordered in April, scheduled for a May build, but wasn't actually built until July 3rd ... 37 days late! Maybe a lack of required parts, especially since it's a big block car? Or did they wait and make a run of similar cars? There is another GT/CS "S" code...

Still no sign of our pre-paid and numbered copy (Paid for the book number matching the last four digits of our VIN). Sigh ... :sad:

This car was for sale last year too, so obviously it didn't sell. I talked to him via email and he thought he might make it up to Kamloops for the "Hot Nites" show and shine event up there last August, but I didn't see the car or meet him there. I guess I'll email him again and suggest he go...
